Velvet Blues Knit Ruffle Scarf

These ruffle scarves were inspired by high Victorian lace collars - but knitted to keep you warm through the cold season, and in a variety of colors and yarn types to match any wardrobe!

This scarf features a soft, plush purple velvet yarn mixed with thinner blue yarns. Half the blue is a dusty sky blue, and the other half is a slightly darker blue. The different thicknesses of yarn gives this scarf a slightly "bumpy" texture, while the velvet softness keeps it supremely comfortable and wearable.

This is part of my discounted inventory, meaning it has some small imperfections, and the price has been lowered to reflect that. The blue yarns are secondhand, and came in multiple pieces that I joined to make this scarf. The tail ends at the joins may come untucked over time; though this won't affect the durability of the scarf itself, if you don't like the way it looks you can always trim the ends down or use a tapestry needle to re-tuck them into the knit.
Additionally, I HIGHLY recommend hand washing this scarf. Because of the soft, "slippery" feel of the velvet yarn, machine washing can pull the yarn out of place, warping the knit and creating loops that stick out from the scarf. Gentle care is essential to prevent this.

Care and feeding: hand wash in cool water with gentle soap, lay flat to dry. Full care instructions will be included with your order.

* I receive a lot of my yarn secondhand, so although I will do my best to disclose fiber content for all my knit products, I often don't know exactly what a given yarn is made of. Please keep this in mind when purchasing, and take caution if you have any sensitivities to certain fibers.
