Faux Wool Colorblock Knit Ruffle Scarf
Faux Wool Colorblock Knit Ruffle Scarf
These ruffle scarves were inspired by high Victorian lace collars - but knitted to keep you warm through the cold season, and in a variety of colors and yarn types to match any wardrobe!
This scarf was a fun exercise in making something stylish and wearable out of scrap yarn! Each color block is mixed with a white yarn for contrast and cohesion. The other colors are: red, white, olive green, and dark purple, all in a thick fuzzy imitation wool-style yarn. The ruffle at the top and bottom are a slightly different white yarn, with a creamier color than the pure white in the main body of the scarf. The ruffles are also trimmed with scrap yarns: half of the trim is a textured lavender yarn, and the other half is a multicolor yarn in pale pink and blue with a thin strand of white mixed in.
This is part of my discounted inventory, meaning it has small imperfections and the price has been lowered to reflect that. In this case, the scarf just uses so many different yarns that I didn't feel it merited full price. But I'm still very happy with this fun and unique scarf!

* I receive a lot of my yarn secondhand, so although I will do my best to disclose fiber content for all my knit products, I often don't know exactly what a given yarn is made of. Please keep this in mind when purchasing, and take caution if you have any sensitivities to certain fibers.
Please reach out if you'd like me to gift wrap your order!
