Violet Field Knit Ruffle Scarf

These ruffle scarves were inspired by high Victorian lace collars - but knitted to keep you warm through the cold season, and in a variety of colors and yarn types to match any wardrobe!

This scarf is a combination of olive-green imitation wool yarn and deep purple yarn, bringing to mind a field of grass with violets blooming here and there. One ruffle is trimmed with a thinner, lighter green yarn.

The purple yarn is secondhand, and came in multiple pieces that I joined to make this scarf. The tail ends at the joins may come untucked over time; though this won't affect the durability of the scarf itself, if you don't like the way it looks you can always trim the ends down or use a tapestry needle to re-tuck them into the knit.

Care and feeding: hand wash in cool water with gentle soap, lay flat to dry. Full care instructions will be included with your order.

* I receive a lot of my yarn secondhand, so although I will do my best to disclose fiber content for all my knit products, I often don't know exactly what a given yarn is made of. Please keep this in mind when purchasing, and take caution if you have any sensitivities to certain fibers.
