Southwest Knit Ruffle Scarf
Southwest Knit Ruffle Scarf
These ruffle scarves were inspired by high Victorian lace collars - but knitted to keep you warm through the cold season, and in a variety of colors and yarn types to match any wardrobe!
This scarf is a mix of a burnt orange yarn, and a sandy brown yarn with just a hint of metallic gold fibers. To me, it brings to mind the rusty colors of the US Southwest, thus the name!
Please note: the yarn is secondhand, and came in multiple pieces that I joined to make this scarf. The tail ends at the joins may come untucked over time; though this won't affect the durability of the scarf itself, if you don't like the way it looks you can always trim the ends down or use a tapestry needle to re-tuck them into the knit.
Features:
- Hidden hook and eye closure for easy wear
- Scarf is 18 1/2" long end to end, and 5 3/4" tall, including top and bottom ruffle
- Can be styled in a variety of different ways (scroll through photos for some ideas)
- Likely 100 synthetic yarn*
Care and feeding: hand wash in cool water with gentle soap, lay flat to dry. Full care instructions will be included with your order.
* I receive a lot of my yarn secondhand, so although I will do my best to disclose fiber content for all my knit products, I often don't know exactly what a given yarn is made of. Please keep this in mind when purchasing, and take caution if you have any sensitivities to certain fibers.
Please reach out if you'd like me to gift wrap your order!
