Bumblebee Knit Ruffle Scarf
Bumblebee Knit Ruffle Scarf
These ruffle scarves were inspired by high Victorian lace collars - but knitted to keep you warm through the cold season, and in a variety of colors and yarn types to match any wardrobe!
This scarf was named for its colors, as well as the fluffy black yarn trim that circles all the way around the edges! It's as soft as its namesake, and will keep you warm all winter long, no hive required.
This is part of my discounted inventory, meaning it has some small imperfections, and the price has been lowered to reflect that. The yellow yarn on this scarf is older, and has some broken strands that may start to come untucked and stick out a bit from the body of the scarf over time. I've taken care to make sure this won't compromise the integrity of the scarf itself, but you may not like the way it looks. But no worries! You can always trim away these strands, or use a tapestry needle to tuck them back into the knit. Additionally, the ruffles at the top and bottom of this scarf are made from a grey yarn and a mottled black and grey yarn that are slightly different in appearance to the solid black yarn on the main body.
Features:
- Hidden hook and eye closure for easy wear
- Scarf is 18 3/4" long end to end, and 6 3/8" tall, including top and bottom ruffle
- Can be styled in a variety of different ways (scroll through photos for some ideas)
- Mostly synthetic yarn, except for the grey yarn and black-and-grey yarn in the ruffle, which are wool and cotton, respectively*
Care and feeding: hand wash in cool water with gentle soap, lay flat to dry. Full care instructions will be included with your order.
* I receive a lot of my yarn secondhand, so although I will do my best to disclose fiber content for all my knit products, I often don't know exactly what a given yarn is made of. Please keep this in mind when purchasing, and take caution if you have any sensitivities to certain fibers.
Please reach out if you'd like me to gift wrap your order!
